Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at www.fsemporium.co.za. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy. Please note that the shipping fees is non refundable.

Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

  • FS Emporium uses reliable third party courier services and adhere to their terms and conditions.
  • FS Emporium is not entirely in control of the courier systems and internal processes.
  • FS Emporium is not responsible for delivery circumstances which are beyond our reasonable control, typically described as force majeure, including but not limited to states of disaster, labour unrest, hijacking, strikes, natural disasters, including localised flooding (and extreme weather), electricity outages (like loadshedding and blackouts), disease, and so forth.
  • FS Emporium will however facilitate the delivery process with the courier company to ensure a smooth process and resolve any challenges that may occur.
  • Ready to wear delivery takes 1-3 working days main cities/towns and 3-5 working days outskirts areas.
  • Custom-made clothing design process & fittings may take: 7-10 working days off-peak and 10-15 working days peak season/ festive season & high levels of load-shedding. However, we aim to complete the garments in a shorter time.
  • Cushions production: 1-3 working days fibre cushion and 5-7 working days feather cushions
  • The client must supply an accurate delivery address, email and contact details
  • Delivery charges will be included on the invoice when applicable or can be added should a special trip have to be made to accommodate customer
  • Even though we allow for a 1-3 working days for main cities/ towns and 3 -5 working days in outskirts areas in South Africas; an exact delivery date or time cannot be guaranteed due to circumstances beyond our control.
  • Delivery may be affected by circumstances typically described as force majeure, including but not limited to states of disaster, labour unrest, strikes, natural disasters, including localised flooding (and extreme weather), electricity outages (like Loadshedding and Blackouts), disease, and so forth.
  • Condition of fitems must be checked –defects to be reported within 48 hours.
  • During the festive season delivery may take longer due to public holidays and suplliers festive holiday season.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipment Confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

FS Emporium is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages

FS Emporium is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Incorrect Shipping Information

We are not responsible for failed delivery due to erroneous shipping addresses or missing phone numbers from the original order. We are also not responsible if you ignored any pickup notice from the shipping carrier, resulting in the loss of the package. We will not be held liable for misplace or lost package by shipping carrier.

International Shipping Policy

We currently do not ship outside South Africa.
